My Cookbooks - Personal Work
I have shot 3 out of 5 cookbooks where my photography and my identity meet — no brief, no client, just food, family, and the stories I most wanted to tell. Shot in my East London studio and kitchen, they document Vietnamese home cooking across generations, from my mother's recipes to my own. Published by Ryland Peters & Small and Penguin Random House, the most recent — Recipes From My Vietnamese Kitchen — was published in 2024. Vietnamese Vegetarian won the Best Asian Cookery Prize 2024.
